With a daddy that works in the ER our family is thankful any holiday that he doesn't have to work. Last year, Deals and I were on our own while he worked a late shift, and this year we would have been thrilled to just have the three of us together (and healthy!) on Christmas. Instead, we were spoiled with visitors arriving from across the country as 8 adults, 3 kids, and 1 baby gathered at an oceanfront beach house to celebrate the holidays together. The cousins had a fabulous time playing with their new toys and each other, and the adults managed to get in endless rounds of Hand and Foot and other games.
