We were delighted to host friends from Chicago to show them around Portland (i.e. drink and play Settlers of Catan once the kids were asleep, although we did manage one sightseeing stop at Powells), and relax at the coast.  We had a great time reminiscing, sharing the excitement of parenthood, and did I mention drinking and playing games?
