She also helped scoop out the pumpkin (our local farmer's market gave out free pumpkins, cookies, roasted corn, and apple cider for the season's end celebration we enjoyed with Mimi) for roasting seeds and carving into a jack-o-lantern.
And the actual holiday lived up to all of the anticipation when our little cowgirl got decked out in a favorite hand-me-down from our friend in TX that she wore last year:
We gathered with friends for an adorable group of costumed trick-or-treating toddlers. Deals was amazed to learn the secret identities of her little buddies (she is completely awestruck by her friend Kellen now that she knows he's a fireman)! It was a whirlwind of cuteness witnessing the 2-year-old posse handle the excitement of dressing up, staying up late, and eating candy together.
